Printemps "en action"
Le printemps donne au parc un certain degré d' incertitude. De magnifiques journeés ensoleillées permettent de skier en manches de chemise. De tardives tempêtes peuvent amener plus de neige. Des filets de brume s'accrochent à la vonûte de la forêt. La fonte des neiges emplit les prairies d'eau, les transformant en étangs dans lesquels viennent chanter les grenouilles. Lorsque la neige s'efface pour laisser place à la chaleur, les premiers signes de vie luttent pour percer la terre. C'rest un moment d'excitation dans vos parcs.
Winter "Wonderland"
Winter snows turn Sequoia Park into a breathtaking new world. Hiking trails disappear and the mode of transportation becomes skiing and snowshoeing. The magnificent Giants draped in snow stand vibrantly red against the white backdrop and deep blue sky. Stillness and solitude allow human reflections of nature's great masterpieces. Crisp, clear air invigorates the body and soul. A very special time in your parks. Park and main roads are open year around, access to the "big trees" exists. Sometime snow chains are necessary to enter the National Park.
Hiver "le pays des merveilles"
Les neiges de I'hiver transforment les parc nationaux de Sequoia en un nouveau monde d'une beautë saisissante. Les sentiers de randonnëe disparaissent et le moyen de transport devient le ski et la raquette. Les superbes gëants drapës de neige demeurent d'un rouge vibrant qui trache sur le blanc de la toilete de fond et le bleu profond du ciel. Le silence et la solitude permettent à l'hommme de mëditer sur les chefs d'oeuvre de la nature. L'air vif et pur revigore le corps et l'esprit. C'est un moment très special dans les parc.
Summer "excitement"
This is our peak season - the summer blends with high altitude freshness to provide the perfect climate all summer long. Park activity abounds on every front - hiking, fishing, nature walks and campfire events, The magic that is Sequoia National Park is vividly evident in the greens, reds and blues as Giant Sequoia silhouette against a backdrop of clean, clear air in our parks.
Été "excitation"
C'est notre haute saison - l'été se mêle à
la fraîcheur de la haute altitude pour créer un climat parfait qui dure tout l'éte. L'activité du parc abonde en tous sens - randonnées, pêche, marches dans la nature et activités autor d'un feu de camp. La magie des parc nationaux Sequoia apparait de facon écledante dans les verts, les rouges et les bleus tels des silhouettes de séquoias géants qui se dressent avec en toile de fond l'air frais et pur des parc.
Fall " serenity and colors"
As the cool months of late October and November arrive, the dogwood, oak, aspen and others prepare for winter. In this process a rainbow of golds, yellows and reds explode throughout the park. This is a quiet and beautiful time as your park await the white mantle of winter.
Automne "sérénité et couleurs"
Lorsqu'arrivent les mois froids de fin octobre et de novembre, le cornuiller, le chěne, le tremble, et d'autres arbres se préparent pour l'hiver. Lors de ce processus, un arc-en-ciel d'ors, de jaunes et de rouges illumine les parc. C'est un moment de l'année calme et magnifique oů les parc attendent de revétir leur blanc manteau d'hiver.
Sommer "Leben"
Dies ist unsere Hauptsaison - der Sommer vermischt sich mit der Frische der Hõhenlage und bietet den ganzen Sommer über ein perfektes Klima. Bei allen Parkaktivitäten herrscht Hochbetrieb - Wandern, Angeln, Naturmärsche und Lagerfeuer-Veranstaltungen.
Der Sequoia Nationalpark zeigt seinen Zauber in der grűnen, roten und blauen Silhouette, die die Mammutbäume gegen einen Hintergrund sauberer, klarer Luft.
Spring "into action"
Springtime offers a degree of uncertainty to the Park. Beautiful sunny days offer shirtsleeve skiing. Late storms can add more snow. Wisping fog rolls through the forest canopy. Meadows fill with the spring melt, becoming ponds hosting a chorus of frogs. As snow gives way to warmth, the first sign of life struggle through the earth. An exciting time in your Parks.
Frühling "Erwachen"
Der Frühling versetzt den Park in Unschluessigkeit. Wunderbare sonnige Tage laden zum Skilauf in kurzen Ärmeln ein. Späte Stűrme bringen mehr Schnee. Nebel zerreissen an den Wipfeln des Waldes. Die Wiesen fűllen sich mit Schmelzwasser und bilden Teiche, in denen sich Chőre von Frőschen tummeln. Wenn der Schnee der Wärme weicht, spriessen die ersten Lebenszeichen aus der Erde. Eine aufregende Zeit im Park.
Herbst "Besinnlichkeit und Farbe"
Wenn die kűhlen Monate des späten Oktobers und Novembers kommen, bereiten sich Hartriegel, Eichen, Espen und andere Bäume auf den Winter vor. Jetzt herrscht űberall im Park eine Farbenpracht aus Gold, Gelb und Rot. Es ist eine ruhige und prächtige Zeit, in der der Park seine weisse Winterdecke erwartet.
Winter "Wunderland"
Die Schneefälle im Winter verwandeln den Sequoia National Park in eine atemberaubende schöne neue Welt. Die Wanderpfade verschwinden, und Ski- und Schneeschuhlauf sind die űblichen Sportmőglichkeiten. Die herrlichen, in Schnee gehűllten Mammutbäume stechen kraftvoll rot vom weissen Hintergrund und tiefblauen Himmel ab. Stille und Einsamkeit regen den Menschen zum Nachdenken űber die grossen Meisterwerke der Natur an. Die klare, kalte Luft belebt Kőrper und Geist. Eine ganz besondere Zeit im Park. Der Park ist das ganze Jahr űber
geőffnet, Zugang zu den Hauptwegen und den Sequoia Bäumen ist gewährt. Mitunter sind Schneeketten erforderlich um in den Park einfahren zu kőnnen.
